Thomas Eugene Pearson recently graduated from the Great Lakes Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. He is the son of Tom and Elizabeth Pearson of Chunky and a 2000 graduate of Newton County High School.
Pearson is now stationed in Virginia Beach, Va., where he is in school for the position of operation specialist.
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Neil M. Graham graduated from the aircraft electrical and environmental systems apprentice course at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Graham was trained in the principles of operation, troubleshooting and inspection of aircraft electro-environmental systems, subsystems, components and associated equipment.
Systems included direct and alternating current, gas turbine compressors, landing gear, electronic engine ignition controls, flight controls, cargo delivery equipment, anti-icing, fire and overheating equipment, oxygen and fuel control and cabin pressurization.
Graham is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Graham of Meridian. He a 2000 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.
