Watt, Turner

Amy Leann Turner of Needham, Ala., and Carlton Turner Watt of Scooba were married Saturday, July 21, 2001, at Toxey Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Bonner officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Turner of Needham, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Watt of Geiger, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Williams of Scooba.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Eldridge Turner of Needham and Mr. and Mrs. Robert McMullen of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Watt of Geiger, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Williamson and the late Bobby Chesney, all of Collinsville.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lori McMullen, pianist and soloist; Stacey McMullen and Mark Brown, soloists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a square neckline, wide straps and fitted bodice accented with Alencon lace, pearls and beads. The flare skirt was edged with Alencon lace, pearl and beads. The chapel-length train was made of white satin. Her two-tiered elbow-length veil of illusion was held by a band of pearls and beads, accented with tiny pearls.
Holly Diane Turner of Needham attended her sister as maid of honor. Other attendants were Wendy Leigh Estes of Vernon, Ala., Kelley Jacobs of Linden, Ala., Tory Armstrong Minus of Emelle, Ala., Susan Marie Pritchett of Aliceville, Ala., and Jessica Long Tomberlin of Mobile, Ala.
Melanie Russell of Livingston, Ala., was flower girl.
Justin Wade Watt of Scooba served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Moseley Cosgrove, Seth Adam Shaul and Jeremy Lee Watkins, all of Livingston, David Lyle Gilbert of Scooba and Douglas Edward Larkin of Northport, Ala.
Ushers were Richard Travis Turner II of Needham, Jonathon Ross McMullen and Matthew Robert McMullen, both of Mobile.
Tyler Watt of Geiger was ring bearer.
Bubble attendants were Anna McMullen and Melanie Russell. Guest book and program attendants were Stacey Lauren McMullen and Megan Elizabeth McMullen.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Shea Shepherd, Annie Poole, Kelli Bethany, Amanda Ray, Mary Ruth Ray, Kim McMillon, Jennifer Stewart and Beth Thompson.
After a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Meridian.
