ELIZABETH MARY TILKENS

Memorial services for Elizabeth Mary Tilkens will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ann Kaufman officiating.
Mrs. Tilkens, 52, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Joey Vanderwalker and his wife, Virginia, of DeKalb; a brother, Glenn Hermsen and a sister, Janet Kruse, both of Green Bay, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.
DEDRIC D. RUFFIN
Services for Dedric D. Ruffin will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Meridian. Edwards Funeral Home of Memphis, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ruffin, 24, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the church in Meridian.
LORINE BOYD KING
Certified nursing assistant
DEKALB Services for Lorine Boyd King will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Bennie Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Rush Cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. King, 57, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela King of Birmingham, Ala., and Vickie King Gaines and her husband, A. Maurice, of Carrollton, Texas; a son, James King Jr. of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren; her mother, Laura Boyd of DeKalb; 10 brothers, Leroy Boyd of Philadelphia, Wilman Boyd and Lerenbe Boyd, both of Chicago, Walter, Sam, Robert, Donald, Johnny and James Boyd, all of DeKalb, Lee Allen Boyd of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Florine McShepard and Mary Jane Monroe, both of DeKalb; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and two siblings.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
LOUVENIA W. DAVIS
Retired school teacher
Services for Louvenia W. Davis will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Albert Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis, 83, of DeKalb, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two sisters, Hallie Mae Johnson of Pontiac, Mich. and Christer Bell Rush of DeKalb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Jesse E. Davis.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one prior to the service.
DOROTHY TERRELL
Retired from Riley Hospital
Services for Dorothy Terrell will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Terrell, 65, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Otis Gowdy Sr., Bobby Gowdy and his wife, Emma, and Robert Terrell and his wife, Tiny, all of Meridian; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Gowdy of Sandusky, Ohio; five sisters, Betty Lou Chaney and Shirley Ann Pough, both of Sandusky, Laura Mae Roberts and Vanola Martin, both of Meridian, and Annie Bell Martin of Quitman; two brothers, Julius P. Chaney of Gulfport and Jimmy Earl Chaney of Sandusky; four stepdaughters, Audrey Spencer and Maxine Thomas, both of Meridian, Elaine Terrell and Charlene Terrell, both of Cleveland, Ohio; a stepson, David Terrell of Cleveland; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Willie Lee Cole, 58, of Stonewall, who died Monday, July 16, 2001, in Milwaukee.

Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for David Shepherd, 71, of DeKalb, who died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
JOHN YANCEY
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for John Yancey, 68, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in his home.
JAMES BERTRAM CLARK JR.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home of Newton for James Bertram Clark Jr., 49, of Decatur, who died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in his home.
