Watkins, Laird

Amos and Sarah Watkins of Clarksville, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Ann, to Brian Lee Laird, son of Roger and Rexine Laird of Little Rock.
The wedding will be held Friday, July 6, 2001, at 7 p.m. at Belle Aire Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Jewell Watkins of Decatur, Ala. and the late Guy Watkins and the late Owen and Grace Skelton of Port Ludlow, Wash.
Miss Watkins received a master's degree in school psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently completing her Eds in school psychology at MTSU.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Earline Laird of Collinsville and the late Cecil Laird, Virginia B. Garner of Delray Beach, Fla. and the late Walter L. Garner Jr.
Mr. Laird is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and is currently employed by the Veterans Administration in Murfreesboro.
