PHILADELPHIA Services for Ruth Bland will be held today at 10 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Young officiating. Burial will be Hester Cemetery, with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bland, 86, of Collinsville, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Laird Hospital in Union.
Survivors include four daughters, Juanice Harper of Shreveport, La., Iva Hurtt, Joyce Hill and Jeanette Chaney, all of Collinsville; two sons, Charles Bland and Joe Bland, both of Collinsville; two sisters, Sara Garrison of Union and Nellie Faye Vonderau of Mobile, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren and nine step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Bland, and a son, Henry Bland.

PHILADELPHIA  Services for W.O. "Pill" Reynolds will be today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service chapel, with the Revs. Buford Usry and Gilbert Allan officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Union, with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reynolds, 80, of Union, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at his home. He was veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Reynolds of Union; a daughter, Carol Pierce of Union; two sisters, Donnie Faulkner of Meridian and Ora Posey of Union; and two grandchildren.

Services for Mildred W. Snowden will be held today at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. James Martin Snowden officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Snowden, 74, of Collinsville, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Norman E. Snowden of Collinsville; a son, David Snowden of Pascagoula; a grandson, Ryan Snowden and his wife, Selena, of Tallahassee, Fla.; a great-grandson, Walker Snowden of Tallahassee; a sister Jean Kinard of Meridian; and three brothers, Dewayne Warren of Mesquite, Texas, and James Warren and Charles Warren, both of Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Ladner, Charles Strong, Allen Cross, Bill Matthews, Robert McIlrath, Fred McMullen, Rick McMullen and Paul Warren.

QUITMAN Services for John Wesley Chancelor will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church, with the Revs. John Edwards, Michael Soesbe and Richard Cothern. Burial will be in Chancelor Cemetery in Clarke County, with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chancelor, 81, of Stonewall, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 14, 1920, in Noxubee County. He was retired from Burlington and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Chancelor of Stonewall; two sons, Darrell Chancelor and his wife, Susan, and Tim Chancelor and his wife, Shelia, all of Stonewall; a daughter-in-law, Susan Philley Chancelor of Brandon; two brothers, Van Chancelor and Lamar Chancelor, and a sister Lois Hales, all of Quitman; five grandchildren, Jarod Chancelor and his wife, Suzanne, of Brandon, Jon Chancelor, Blake Chancelor and Brittany Chancelor, all of Stonewall, and Kim Chancelor of Hattiesburg.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John Howard and Minnie Lee Chancelor; a son, Jimmie Dale Chancelor; a brother, Ancil Chancelor; and two sisters, Earselle Boone and Margarette Driskill.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Martin, Randy Hailes, Tony Chancelor, Bruce Richardson, Lavelle White, Kenneth Chancelor, Jace Chancelor and Mack Martin.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Services for Nona Mae Charlton Chisolm will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, with the Rev. Philip Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Chisolm, 81, of Meridian, died Friday, April 27, 2001, in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Munson M. Chisolm Jr. of Meridian; six children, Priscilla Joyner Baygents of Meridian, Don Wiggins and his wife, Lori, of Collinsville, Frances Swinehart and her husband, George, of Pennsylvania, J.W. Hailey and his wife, Pat, of Meridian, Joaquin Wiggins and his wife, Linda, of Meridian, and Betty Wiggins of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Malcom Charlton of Batesville; a sister, Valley Charlton Bunch of Shucktown; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
