    OBITUARIES FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21, 2001

    Retired school cafeteria manager
    PHILADELPHIA Services for Audrey McMichael White will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
    Mrs. White, 86, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Neshoba County General Hospital. She was the cafeteria manager at Neshoba Central Elementary School.
    Survivors include a daughter, Betty Rathbun of Houston, Texas; three sons, John McMichael of Clinton, Robert Lewis McMichael and Jack McMichael of Philadelphia; three stepdaughters, Vonciel Lety of Moss Point, Beverly Duncan of Amite, La. and Sylvia Mars of Madison; two stepsons, Chad White of Philadelphia and Hassell White of Brandon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Services for Thomas Bryant Shirley will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Shane Freeman and Cletus Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Shirley, 89, of Meridian, died Monday, March 19, 2001, in Meridian. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.
    Survivors include three sisters, Anne Jellenc, Fredna Powell and Christine Couch; four grandchildren, Bobbie Joyce Hagwood and her husband, Van, Woodie Davidson and his wife, Nelda, and Judi McAllister, all of Meridian, and Scott A. Smith of Oxford; four great-grandchildren, Angela J. Davidson and her husband, Scotty, Chris V. Hagwood, Tyler Davidson and Steven McAllister, all of Meridian; a great-great-grandchild, Trevor Davidson; two sons-in-law, R.C. Davidson and John Smith Jr.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel M. Shirley; two daughters, Tommie J. Davidson and Glenda M. Smith; a sister, Pearl Reynolds; two brothers, Carl Shirley and Honey Shirley; and a grandson, Jimmy Davidson.
    Pallbearers will be Parker Shannon, Stanley Shannon, Steve Jellenc, Richard H. Reynolds, Randy Shirley, Kevin Smith, Dickie Davis and Wayne Shirley.
    Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Shannon McNeil will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Eugene Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
    Mr. McNeil, 29, of Neshoba County, died Monday, March 19, 2001, in Neshoba County. A native of Neshoba County, he was a 1990 graduate of Neshoba Central High School and received his nursing degree in 1998 from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. McNeil was employed with Mississippi Baptist Medical Center as a registered nurse and formerly employed with Sta-Home Healthcare in Carthage. He was a member of Hope Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his parents, Bob and Jeanette McNeil of Philadelphia; three brothers, Steve McNeil of Forest, Kim McNeil of Memphis and Kevin McNeil of Spring, Texas; two nephews, Shayne and Riley McNeil; a niece, Briana McNeil; and his maternal grandmother, Eunice Bobo of Philadelphia.
    Pallbearers will be Sam White, Michael Bostick, Drew Winstead, Ricky Stewart, Johnny Stuart, Tim Watkins, Mark Bobo and James Smith.
    Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    RUTH DOGGETT
    UNION Services for Ruth Doggett will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pine Bluff Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Chaney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Doggett, 90, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in her home.
    Survivors include a son, Steve Doggett of Little Rock; a stepson, Melvin Doggett of Natchitoches, La.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Enterprise Funeral Home for Ada M. Williams, 76, of Meridian, who died Friday, March 16, 2001, at Riley Hospital.

    Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of DeKalb for Eppie L. Barney, of Cleveland, Ohio, who died Sunday, March 18, 2001, in Cleveland.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Evon Nichols, 78, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
