Surgery expansion at Jeff Anderson complete

Ralph David Roberts III has been named as one of Mississippi's "Top 40 Under 40" for 2001 by the Mississippi Business Journal. He is the Elections Division director for campaign finance and lobbying reporting in Secretary of State Eric Clark's office.
Roberts, 29, is a 1989 graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science at Mississippi College and a master's degree in public policy and administration from Mississippi State University.
Roberts and his wife, Mindy, live in Jackson. He is the son of Pete and Betty Roberts of Meridian.
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Patrick L. Threatt has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Victor and Gayle Threatt of Meridian, and a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Stephen T. Jeronymo has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Novella Jeronymo of Meridian, and a graduate of Meridian High School.
During the six weeks of training, the airmen studied the U.S. Air Force mission, organization and customs, and received special training in human relations.
Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Power wheelchairs are available at no cost through Miracle of Wheels to senior citizens who cannot walk and cannot self-propel a manual wheelchair. There are additional qualifications senior citizens must meet including an evaluation from a physician.

FOREST Skip Lathem was recently elected superintendent of schools for the Forest Municipal Separate School District. He is currently principal of Forest High School and will assume his new duties as superintendent July 1 He is a native of Scott County and married to the former Ruth McDaniel of Meridian.
