    OBITUARIES FOR THURSDAY, JAN. 18, 2001

    MINNIE MCLEMORE SUTTLE
    Homemaker
    QUITMAN Services for Minnie McLemore Suttle were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Albert McMullan and Mike Powell. Burial was in Union Cemetery in Clarke County.
    Ms. Suttle, 90, of Quitman, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Lakeside Living Center.
    Survivors include a sister, Pauline Rolison of Stonewall; and several nieces and nephews.
    DOROTHY COOPER CISTRUNK
    Services for Dorothy Cooper Cistrunk were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville with the Revs. Eddie B. Robinson and Robert Brownlee officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Cistrunk, 53, of Louisville, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at Winston Medical Center.
    Survivors include her mother, Mabelle Jones of Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Tony Cistrunk, Montague Cistrunk and Walrikus Cistrunk, all of Louisville; seven sisters, Glendia of Jacksonville, Fla., Betty and Sandra, both of Louisville, Helen, Willie Ann, Delores and Rose, all of Memphis, Tenn; two brothers, Howard of Vicksburg and Larry of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Cistrunk and a sister, Olympia Lewis.
    MOLLIE AGNES STORY
    QUITMAN Services for Mollie Agnes Story were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sioux City, Iowa. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Story, 86, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 13, at Magnolia Plantation in Quitman. Mrs. Story was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Guild, Carmelite Guild, Blue Army and NARFE.
    Survivors include a son, Michael E. Story of Meridian; a daughter, Patricia A. Miller of East Dubuque, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
    MACK PARKER

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Mack Parker will be held today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. John Ballard and Bobby Joe Butler officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Attala County.
    Mr. Parker, 70, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko.
    Survivors include his wife, Robbie Nance Parker of Philadelphia; two daughters, Connie Pinkard of Ethel and Patsy McKinnon of Philadelphia; a son, Kenny Mack Parker of Philadelphia; his mother, Ruby Blue of Kosciusko; a sister, Margaret McGregor of New Orleans; and five grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jo Parker.
    GEORGE W. SMITH JR.
    Services for George W. Smith Jr. will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Bucatunna Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Smith, 82, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at King's Daughters &Sons Rest Home.
    Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. and beginning at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
    MILDRED ALLEN MORGAN
    Office manager for Morgan's Nursery &Plant Farm
    Graveside services for Mildred Allen Morgan will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Toomsuba Cemetery with the Revs. Duaine Morgan, Jay Cook and Raymond Leake officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Morgan, 63, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at The University Medical Center in Jackson. She was a member of Toomsuba Baptist Church, a former member of Meridian Community College Chorus and member of Mississippi Horticultural Association.
    Survivors include her husband, Philip L. Morgan of Toomsuba; two daughters, Deanna Morgan Phariss of Toomsuba and Jayna Morgan Robinson and her husband, Everett, of Meridian; her mother, Lottie Allen of Toomsuba; two sisters, Dr. June Pegues of Hattiesburg and Jane Allen of Kentucky; a brother, Millard R. Allen Jr. of Toomsuba; and three grandchildren, Shane Phariss, Summer Robinson and Jake Robinson.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Millard R. Allen Sr.
    The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
    Pallbearers will be Todd Morgan, Tim Morgan, Daryl Davis, the Rev. Mike Allen and David Bailey.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Grant Allen, Dale Davis, Clarence Butler, Roger Giroux, James Pegue and Allen Pegue.
    Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    JULIUS FRANKLIN BRIDGES
    Security guard
    Services for Julius Franklin Bridges will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with the Rev. Cephus Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mr. Bridges, 57, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, in his home.
    Survivors include his mother, Clara Merle Bridges and three sons, Johnny Arnell Bridges and Jessie Franklin Bridges, all of Meridian, and David Lee Bridges of Stonewall; a daughter, Barbara Sue Bridges of Meridian; three sisters, Betty Skipper of Bailey, Kay Livingston of Meridian and Ann Reid of Mobile, Ala.; a brother, Johnny Bridges of Union; and three grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MAE OLA NELSON

    NEWTON Services for Mae Ola "Aunt Mae" Nelson will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church with the Revs. Hilton Moore and Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Nelson, 86, of Decatur, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at Newton Regional Hospital. She was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church.
    Survivors include two sisters, Eva Dee Wyatt of Pearl and Ann McKee of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Nelson and a daughter, Janice Mae Nelson.
    The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
    Pallbearers will be Brent Mayes, Aaron Kelly, Keith McKee, David Hollingsworth, Stanley Nelson and Travis Ledlow.
    Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    JAMES RIDINGER JR.
    Retired carpenter
    Services for James Ridinger Jr. will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with the Revs. Jackie Strebeck and Keith Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Ridinger, 87, of the Suqualena community, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, in his home. He served in World War II and retired after 30 years from Acme Millwork. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Willie Mae Ridinger of Suqualena; two sons, W.L. Ridinger of Union and Walter Ridinger and his wife, Terrie, of Meridian; two daughters, Shirley Sisk and her husband, Jerry, and Mary Parkes and her husband, Dempsey, all of Meridian; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Pallbearers will be Richard Morris, Mark "Sonny" Morris, Josh Parks, Joe Beckins, Drew Ridinger, Andrew Cooley, Dale Warren and Robert Ridinger.
    Honorary pallbearer will be lifelong friend, L.B. Alexander.
    Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. and Friday beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
