Lady Tigers split week of games

The Red Bay Tigers picked up a split last week, defeating Hackleburg 11-3 and losing to Hamilton 16-6.
Red Bay 11, Hackleburg 3
Red Bay scored four runs in the first inning, and that was all they would end up needing as they went on to route the Hackleburg Panthers 11-3.
Hackleburg scored first, getting two runs in the top of the first. It would be the only lead the Panthers would have. Red Bay answered with four runs in the bottom of the first. The Tigers scored two more in the second to take a 6-2 lead.
Hackleburg scored one in the top of the sixth to make the score 6-3, then Red Bay put the game away in the bottom of the inning, scoring five runs to take an 11-3 lead.
Annaliese Rogers led the way at the plate for Red Bay with two hits, three runs and an RBI. Emma McCollister, Jordyn McKinney and Lila Blackburn scored two runs each. Khloe Knoblock had four runs batted in and was also the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts.
Hamilton 16, Red Bay 6
The Hamilton Aggies scored every inning to pull away from the Red Bay Tigers.
Hamilton scored three runs in the first, one in the second, three in the third, one run in the fourth and fifth inning, five runs in the sixth inning and two in the seventh inning.
Red Bay scored two in the first inning, one in the second, two in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Annaliese Rogers and Lila Blackburn had two hits each. Blackburn and Jordyn McKinney had two RBIs each. Victoria Rodriques scored two runs.
