Earl B. Reed
Retired electrician
Services for Earl B. Reed were held Monday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Malcolm Lewis, Dr. Danny Lanier and Larry Browning officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Reed, 59, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired electrician at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, where he worked for 27 1/2 years.
Mr. Reed was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served three tours in Vietnam. He belonged to the Loyal Order of the Moose and Legionnaires. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Reed, a son, James Earl Reed, and his mother, Willie B. Reed, all of Meridian; two brothers, Quinton Reed and his wife, Norma, of Erath, La., and Johnny Reed and his wife, Minnie, of Meridian; two sisters, Lou Johnson and her husband, W.P. of Louisville, and Barbara Gamble and her husband, Jack, of Meridian; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Reed.
The family requests memorials be made to the Northcrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
Adie Griffin
Retired farmer
Services for Adie Griffin will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Daleville with the Rev. Eddie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Griffin, 91, of Daleville, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Griffin, two daughters, Cremonia Griffin, both of Daleville; and Mary Brown of San Diego; four sons, Willie Griffin and Arthur Griffin, both of Los Angeles; and Herbert and Robert Griffin, both of St. Louis; a brother, Marshall Griffin of Meridian; 29 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nelson Reynolds
Retired retail mens clothing sales
PHILADELPHIA Services for Nelson Reynolds will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dan Howard officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Reynolds, 84, of Union, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Reynolds of Union; two daughters, Mary Virginia Bodenhamer of Atlanta; and Donna Jo Reynolds of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sons, Allen Reynolds of College Station, Texas, and Nelson Dwight Reynolds of Jackson; a brother, Harold Kenneth Reynolds of Union; and 10 grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the Lions Club Eye &Tissue Bank or favorite charity.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
