Sept. 25, 2025 

Charles “Wade” Oden, 84, of Phil Campbell, passed away Sept. 25. Visitation was held Sept. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service took place Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery. 

Clarence Wilburn “Buddy “Brindley
Sept. 24, 2025 

Clarence Wilburn “Buddy” Brindley, 84, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Sept. 24. A visitation was held at Spry Memorial Chapel on Sept. 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral service immediately followed. Burial was in Phil Campbell Cemetery.  

Jackie Burns McDuffa
Sept. 23, 2025 

Jackie Burns McDuffa, 79, of Russellville, passed away Sept. 23. A visitation was held at Pinkard Funeral Home on Sept. 28 from 1 p.m. to 2p.m. The funeral service immediately followed. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Adeline (Richardson) Scott, 86, of Russellville, passed away Sept. 22. A visitation was held at Pinkard Funeral Home on Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The funeral service immediately followed. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Lesa Nanette Hooper, 64, of Russellville, passed away Sept. 22. A visitation was held at Spry Memorial Chapel on Sept. 26 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The funeral service immediately followed. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Alta Gracia Paslilas, 88, of Phil Campbell, passed away Sept. 19, 2025. A visitation was held at Pinkard Funeral Home on Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service immediately followed. Burial was in East Franklin Cemetery.
