PHIL CAMPBELL — Councilmembers have agreed to sell a 2021 Dodge Durango police vehicle to the Town of Littleville for $25,000.
Assistant Town Clerk Ashley Harbin said the vehicle had 59,595 miles and was still in service prior to the sale.
Police Chief Jessica Clements said the department’s full-time officer has been driving a Charger, so the Durango has been used less frequently in recent months.
Clements said Littleville officials contacted the department about purchasing the vehicle, and officials decided proceeds from the sale could be used to pay help pay off the police department’s Ford Explorer vehicle.
Clements said the department currently has three vehicles remaining in service, including her Explorer and two Dodge Chargers driven by other officers.
