Dorothy “Dot” Lee Knight, 89, of Russellville, passed away Jan. 26. Visitation was held Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. A service directly followed.

Cora Mae Thorn Odom
Jan. 22, 2025

Cora Mae Thorn Odom, 94, of Russellville, passed away Jan. 22. Visitation was Jan. 25 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. A service directly followed. Burial was in Blue Springs Cemetery.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Fay Hutcheson

Jacqueline “Jackie” Fay Hutcheson, 79, of Phil Campbell, passed away Jan. 20. A visitation will be held Jan. 23 from 12-2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. A service will directly follow. Burial will be in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

Glenda Faye Mitchell Moore

Glenda Faye Mitchell Moore, 63, of Tuscumbia, formerly of Russellville, passed away Jan. 20. Visitation was held Jan. 27 from 9-11 a.m. at Spry MemorialChapel.Aservice directly followed. Burial was in King Cemetery in the Wolf Springs community.

Lisa Giedraitis, 56, of Madison, formerly of Russellville, passed away Jan. 16 in Huntsville Hospital. Lisa was born Jan. 29, 1978, in Colbert County, Ala., to Maxie Ray and Melanie Marie Partain.

Visitation was Jan. 25 from 12-2 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, with the service held directly after. Burial was in Blue Springs Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Jon Giedraitis; son, Peyton Hulsey; mother, Melanie Partain; brother, Chris Partain; nephew, Cash Partain; niece, Jayden Partain; and stepson, James Giedraitis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Maxie Partain; brother, Jason Partain; and grandparents, Orbie and Ila Partain, and J.T. and Betty Seal.

Betty Ruth Sandusky, 70, of Russellville, passed away Dec. 20. A memorial service will be held Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Tuscumbia, Ala. Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville is assisting the family.
