Russellville battles West Point in area volleyball action

The Russellville Golden Tigers hosted the West Point Warriors for a volleyball match Sept. 9. The two varsity squads are members of Class 5A, Area 15.

RHS battled throughout the contest but lost 3-0 by scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-23.

The Lady Golden Tigers had area matches remaining at Brewer Sept. 13 and at home versus Lawrence County Sept. 27.
