Jason Floyd Baker

Jason Floyd Baker, 39, of Phil Campbell, passed away Jan. 6.

Visitation will be Jan. 9 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Visitation will also be held at 10 a.m., Jan. 10 at Pleasant Hill Church with the funeral service following at 11 a.m., with Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating.

Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery.

Jason was born Sept. 15, 1979, in Tuscumbia at Helen Keller Hospital to Floyd and Janet Baker.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Harrelson; his great-grandparents, Malcom “Mack” Baker, Clyde and Alma Patterson, Lovie and Glenn Cummings and Ruel and Maxie Harrelson; his brother-in-law, Heath Sutherland; and his cousin, Margaret “Etta” Adeline Ross.

Jason is survived by his children, Gage, Leela and Layla Baker; his parents, Floyd and Janet Baker; his grandparents, Ralton and Carolyn Baker and Tilda Harrelson; his great-grandmother, Era Mae Clark; his siblings, Justin Baker (Wensalee) and Shayla Baker Taylor (TJ); his nieces and nephews, Jaci Sutherland, Knoxlee Taylor and Kendric, Keaton and Kye Baker; his aunts and uncles, Galon Baker, Dalana Baker, Susan Ross (Joel) and Pat Harrelson; and a host of great-aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Coby Abston, Mack Baker, Thomas Baker, Peyton Ross, Jeremy Lane, Shane Borden and Brody Nix.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
