Mary Pauline “Polly” Elliott

Mary Pauline “Polly” Elliott, 90, passed away April 11 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Cullman to Seab Johnson and Lula Miller Johnson. She was a dog breeder for more than fifty years and a member of AKC and CKC Breeders Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Bay.

Services will be April 13 at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Mitch Nethery and Bro. Scott Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are three children – Joyce Gray and husband Danny, Florence, Lynda Fowler and husband Tim, Vina, and Steve Elliott, Kingston, Wash.; nine grandchildren – Dr. Ryan Gray and wife Beth, Lance Gray and wife Jessica, Carly Hellums and husband Brent, T.J. Fowler, Tony Jennings and wife Nicole, Codey Jennings, Destiny Elliott, Sarah Elliott and Jeremy Elliot; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Elliott, her parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Ryan Gray, Lance Gray, Brent Hellums, T.J. Fowler, Tony Jennings and Codey Jennings.

Visitation will be April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
