Proud to be an American

Becky Hester’s kindergarten class at Red Bay High School participated in the Sept. 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. The kindergartners, along with help from their very special foster grandmother Mrs. Margaret, made flags with the caption We are Proud of our Flag. Mrs. Margaret also helped the students make fire trucks to show appreciation to the first responders of Sept. 11th. Johnny Cleveland, the elementary principal, made a special visit to kindergarten to check out the work. The kindergarten class would like to thank Mrs. Margaret for her service and love that she shows to the class daily.
