This year Phil Campbell held a play date for PCHS summer basketball. It’s a basketball tournament for all the local teams to compete in and practice for the upcoming year.

“Fans of the community got a preview of basketball on Tuesday in Phil Campbell,” Coach Darit Riddle said. “Eight county junior high teams representing four different county schools took part in a summer practice date. The 7/8th grade boys teams and 9th grade boys teams all played three games each.”

Riddle continued, “I really appreciated all who participated – the referees, the fans of the community, everyone who worked concession stands and all the teams who represented their schools well.”
