Lady Tigers fall to Haleyville

RED BAY – The Red Bay girls tennis team opened its season with a tough 9-0 loss to Haleyville.
In singles action Morgan McKinney lost 8-1 while Meghann Oliver, Shelby Childers, Danielle Hastings and Jade Ezell all lost 8-0. Brooke Gresham lost her singles match 8-3.
In doubles play McKinney and Oliver lost 8-1, Taylor Webb and Gresham lost 8-0 and Gretchen Fancher and Childers lost 8-0.
The Lady Tigers return to action Thursday when they host Sheffield at 3:15 p.m.
