Cultura Garden Club plans Prayer Service

The Cultura Garden Club will hold their annual "Every Light A Prayer for Peace" service Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 4:30 p.m. on the steps of the Franklin County Courthouse.
The service will include special music from the RHS, RMS and RES Choruses. Boy Scouts Troop #39, Cubs Scout Pack #39, Girls Scout #117, and Brownie Troop #227 will post their colors during the presentation, and will lead the group in signing the national anthem, and saying the pledge to the flag.
The service will be officiated by Rev. Mark Woodruff, pastor of four United Methodists churches in our area. Woodruff is a Russellville native, and served as a Chaplain for the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He is married to Patty Moon Woodruff, a teacher at Russellville High School.
Woodruff will bring a brief prayer for peace message.
