Alan and Suzanne Day of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Louise, to Justin Dewitt Richardson, son of Joe and Lisa Eaves of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Miss Day is the granddaughter of Mary Day and the late Frank D. Day, and Richard and Kathryn Gough, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale and attended Meridian Community College. She is employed by FedEx Ground.
Mr. Richardson is the grandson of the late Thurman Dewitt Richardson and Margie Rene Johnson of Philadelphia.
The bridegroom-elect attended Northeast Lauderdale High School. He is employed by Structural Steel Services.
A reception will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church Parish Center following the ceremony.
