BUTLER, Ala. The Seven Seals Program is set for 6 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church.
Coming up
A Unity Expo and Luncheon is scheduled Sept. 4, from 9 a.m.-noon, at Agape Storehouse Apostolic Church, 402 26th Ave. Workshops will be conducted by the Rev. John H. Willis and Linda Willis. The session is part of the church's marriage ministry.
STONEWALL Stonewall Church of God will host a one-day revival on Sept. 5 at 11:30 a.m. "Giving Back To God" is the theme. The church is at 141 Leola St.
HALSELL, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be held at John the Baptist Church on Sept. 5 at 6 p.m.
The youth of Westwood Baptist Church will sell barbecue chicken plates Sept. 11, from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost is $5 and the menu will include one-half chicken, potato salad, baked beans and bread; iced tea available for dine-in only. Agape Storehouse Apostolic Church's Second Annual Marriage Candlelight Dinner is Sept. 11 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center, 544 49th Ave. Cost is $30 per couple, advance; $40 per couple at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased through Tuesday. MARTIN Revival at Pine Grove Church is scheduled for Sept. 12-15. The Rev. Dr. Don Arnold of Gadsden, Ala., will be guest speaker. Service times are Sept. 12, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m; Sept. 13-15, 7 p.m. The church is at 11874 Pine Grove Road.
NEWTON COUNTY Revival at Liberty Baptist Church, Liberty Church Road, begins Sept. 12 at 11 a.m., with an evening service at 7 p.m. Sept. 13-15 services will begin at 7 p.m. The Rev. Reggie Williams of Steele Baptist Church is guest minister.
LAUDERDALE The congregation of Mount Carmel Baptist Church will host an appreciation service for the Rev. and Mrs. Leo Cole on Sept. 12 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. James Baylor will be guest speaker.
MAGNOLIA, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be held at Pleasant Hill AME Church on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m.
Cooper's Chapel Church will host a conference on the family Sept. 15-18. Topics include: "The Fight for the Family," "How to Win?" "Authority: Biblical Relevance of Family," "Raising Children in Today's Society," "Responsibility of Fathers: As Leaders of the Home" and "God's Word on Sex."
Speakers will be the Rev. Jeff Switzer of Sandtown United Methodist Church and the Rev. Tim Thompson of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Special music will highlight each service. Sept. 14-17 services will begin at 7 p.m. The Sept. 18 service will begin with lunch at 1 p.m., followed by special music at 3 p.m., a presentation by Thompson at 4 p.m., a program of special music at 6 p.m. and a presentation by Switzer at 7 p.m.
Registration is $10. For a form or information, call (601) 776-6659 or (601) 776-1493. A nursery will be provided for children 6 and under. Activities also are planned for children and youth 6 and older. The church is on Highway 511, three miles east of Quitman.
My Brother's Keeper men's ministry of the Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship Church will host the conference "Men of Integrity 2004," Sept. 16-18 at 7 p.m. each evening. "Men Taking Their Place In The Kingdom" is the theme. Registration will begin at 5:45 p.m. A lecture session on Sept. 18 at 9 a.m. will be conducted by the Rev. Craig Tucker of Freedom Rock. Registration will be from 8 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Lunch will be provided.
An expansion dedication for Trinity Lutheran Church, Highway 39 North, is slated for Sept. 19 at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. A reception and open house will follow, from noon to 2 p.m. For more information, call the church office at (601) 483-5457.

LAUDERDALE A Pastor Aides Program is set for Sept. 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Guest speakers will explore the theme "A Good Christian."
SANDFLAT The Seven Seals Program will be held at Fairview Baptist Church on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m.
