    PRESTON Services for Norman R. Jimerson will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Wilson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Chamberlin Cemetery. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Jimerson, 60, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, in his home. He was a retired taxi driver with Meridian Cab Co.
    He was a member of Mt. Valley Baptist Church, Meridian Taxi Cab Association and the Mississippi Taxi Cab Association
    Survivors include his wife, Sallie Jimerson of Meridian; his parents, Ray and Edna Jimerson of Meridian; sons Terrell Barfield and wife Sabrina of Meridian and Norman Jimerson Jr. and wife Desiree of Eddison, N.J.; daughters Jacqueline Griffin and her husband Tyron of Meridian and Renea Jimerson of Connecticut; a brother Michael Jimerson of Meridian; sisters Linda Presley of Meridian and Gwendolyn Waterhouse and her husband Ronald of Seattle, Wash.; and grandchildren Whitney je' Walk, Darrell Barfield Jr., Justin Jimerson, Jordan Jimerson, Teochia Pratt, Patricia Walk, Savannah Walk, Cambrionna Pratt Barfield and Precious Ramsey.
    He was preceded in death by his grandmother and a brother.
    Pallbearers will be Ali Jimerson, Cody Jimerson, Michael C. French, Kenny Roberts, Michael Ray Jimerson and James French. Honorary pallbearers are Tyron Griffin and Willie Walker.
    Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MOBILE, Ala. Graveside services for Edwin Lavell Moffett will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery West. Pine Crest Custom Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Moffett, 81, a native of Meridian and longtime resident of Mobile, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, in his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
    Survivor include his wife, Dorothy Cash Ivison; a son, Leon Moffett of Mobile; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles Moffett, Arliss Moffett, Clyde Donald Moffett and Billy Moffett; a sister, Bettie Martin; and several other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Corbin and Myrtie Moffett; sisters, Vaudie Merle Moffett and Doris Hall; brothers, Arvin Douglas "A.D." Moffett and Ray Moffett.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Graveside services for Ruby Faye Walker will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Brother Brent Parks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Walker, 92, of Newton, died Friday, May 28, 2004 at Guardian Angel Hospice in Marion. She was a school teacher in Bromide, Okla. and a member of the Newton County Church of Christ.
    Survivors include her husband Dewitt T. Walker of Marion; sisters-in-law Damie Carter and France Carter, both of Chickasha, Okla.; one niece and three nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bedford and Mary Algie Snell Carter.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Mildred James will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. James, 79, of Bailey, died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Riley Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Meridian.
    Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Warren and her husband Hollis Warren of Bailey, Jeanette Everett and her husband David Everett of Meridian and Janice Darby and her husband Cliff Darby of New Orleans; a son Herbert D. "Pete" James and his wife Becky James of Allen, Texas; a daughter-in-law Anne James of Collinsville; brothers Curtis Rawson, of Meridian, J.T. Rawson, of Quitman; a sister Barbara Rawson, of Lumberton; a sister-in-law Agnes Fincher of Arley, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents Grady and Nellie Rawson, her husband Herbert James, a son Billy Ray James and a grandson Jason Ray James.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    YORK, Ala. Services for Thomas Edwin McDonald will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Siloam Baptist Church, with the Dr. Bob Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. McDonald, 91, of Cuba, died Saturday, May 28, 2004 at Hill Hospital in York. He was a retired welder with Burlington Northern Railroad.
    Survivors include a brother, Carl McDonald of York; and sisters Maudine McDonald and Janelle Taylor, both of York, Mattie Cannon of Thomaston, and Laura Del Ross of Demopolis.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona "Sweet" McDonald.
    Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at Siloam Baptist Church.
