    Laborer
    Services for Howard Naylor will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Simmons Chapel Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. J.W. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Naylor, 74, of Meridian, formerly of Folson, La., died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at the Reginald P. White Nursing Facility at East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian.
    Survivors include his wife, Zola Mae Naylor; a daughter, Cora Mae Naylor, both of Folson; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, J.C. Naylor of Besemer, Ala., Elton Naylor of Gary, Ind., Elijah Naylor of Meridian, and Hosie Naylor of Collinsville; two sisters, Gladys Tanksley of Meridian and Jenette Jones of Westland, Mich.; an uncle and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
    Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.

    Services for Illean Temple will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Timothy Thompson officiating.
    Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Lauderdale with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Temple, 88, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Hilda M. Hardy will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Caanan Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Hardy, 72, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Lee Hardy of Meridian; three daughters, Shirley Watkins and her husband, Gregory, Mary McQuarley and her husband, Milton, and Frances Hardy, all of Meridian; three sisters, Virginia Eston of Aikens, S.C., Remonia Young and Lucy Bastrom, both of Philadelphia; a brother, Lee Preston of Chicago; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    JACKSON Graveside services for Christine Rivers Daniels were held Tuesday, April 13, 2004, in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery. Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Daniels, 90, of Jackson, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
    Mrs. Daniels was born in Union in 1913. Her parents were the late Thaddeous Rivers and Mary Beatrice Savell Rivers. She was a graduate of House High School in Union. She was the former sewing instructor for the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Meridian and also in Jackson after moving there in 1961. She enjoyed her work and was very good at it. She retired after many years of service. She was of the Methodist faith.
    She will be remembered as a kind and loving person who was a beautiful lady who took much pride in her appearance. She loved to dress up and go places. She will be greatly missed by her son and all who loved her.
    Survivors include her son, Cecil Daniels of Jackson and a brother, Savell Rivers of Union.
    Memorial services for Kenneth Joseph Howard will be held at a later date with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Howard, 28, of Meridian, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include his mother, Annie Howard; a sister, Janet Howard; and a niece, Brieanna Reed, all of Meridian.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Howard.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Nidlia Green, 78, of Meridian, who died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Jesse W. Weir, 89, of Meridian, who died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Pearlee Spivey, 89, of Meridian, who died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Queen City Nursing Home.
