Miss out on sports; not a Chance

When Cassie Chance was a student at Northeast Lauderdale High School, she never made a basket, hit a softball, ran a race or scored a goal for any of the Lady Trojan teams.
It doesn't take long to sum up her playing sports.
That doesn't mean she hasn't been around sports and has even allowed them to take her places many can only wish they'd been.
Chance, 21, is currently the communications intern for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
That's where her time at Northeast and two years at East Mississippi Community College paid off.
Chance still works some for iHigh.
She is much more involved with the NFCA.
In her free time, Chance works for MSU's media relations and still maintains a 3.2 GPA.
Chance got to work at the men's Final Four last spring in New Orleans.
One might wonder how somebody can get so excited about something they haven't participated in.
Chance plans to stay involved in the sports world.
