MACON Services for David Coleman will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Butler Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Rayburn Druey, Gerald Butler, and Bobby Jo Butler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Coleman, 71, of Shuqualak, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Coleman; daughters, Ann Coleman and Kay Coleman James; sons, Joseph David Coleman Jr., all of Shuqualak, Earl Coleman of Jackson, Daniel Ray Coleman of Shuqualak and Tim Coleman of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Cleveland Coleman of Macon; and sisters, Willie Mae Green and Earnestine Higginbotham, both of Shuqualak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Howard and Lela Tommie Butler Coleman.
Memorials may be made to Butler Pentecostal Church.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the church.
AGUSTA "GUSSIE" CLARK COVINGTON
Services for Agusta "Gussie" Clark Covington will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Jeff Hancock and James Williams officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Covington, 91, of Meridian, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a member of First Church of God.
Survivors include a son Mitchell Lee Clark, Jr., and his wife, Silbie; a granddaughter, Candace Reid; grandson, Jody Clark and his wife, Kristina; great-grandson, Nicholas Reid; a sister, Louise Null and her husband, Bryant; two step-sons, Jerry Covington and his wife, Patricia; and Tommy Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mitchell Lee Clark, a second husband, Woodrow Covington; three brothers Fred Alexander and his wife, Minnie; Robert Alexander and his wife, Vick; and Joe Alexander and his wife, Mary.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Null, Gary Alexander, Gary Fredrickson, Ken Covington, Mike Engel and Chester Parker.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
LELA CAROLYN WILLIAMS ROSENBAUM
Services for Lela Carolyn Williams Rosenbaum will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rosenbaum, 72, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Hospice of Central Mississippi in Ridgeland.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour before the service at the church.
MARY VAUGHN

ENTERPRISE Services for Mary Vaughn will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Fredrick Crowell officiating. Burial will be in Barkers Cemetery in Marion with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Vaughn, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert and his wife, Rosie Vaughn and Willie Vaughn, all of Meridian; and a daughter, Mary Ann and her husband, Claude McGowan of Somerset, N.J.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Vaughn.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
CHARLES DEAN PORTER

YORK, Ala. Memorial services for Charles Dean Porter will be held at a later date with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Porter, 47, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Elizabeth Porter of Meridian; a son, Thomas Porter of Elmira, N.Y.; daughters, Sylina Taskey and her husband, Scott, Tonya Garrett and her husband, Joey, and Shavon Wilkerson and her husband, Kasey, all of Meridian; brothers, Howard Porter of San Diego, Richard Porter of Elmira and Ronald Porter of Roanoke, Va.; sisters, Constance Wells and Deanna Tice, both of New Berlin, N.Y., and Rosalyn Checosky of Gillett, Pa., and nine grandchildren.
