WAYNESBORO Services for Kenneth Barnett were held Thursday at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Roberson officiating. Burial was in Barnett Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett, 58, of Waynesboro, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Wayne General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Sherron Barnett of Waynesboro; two sons, Kenneth Brian Barnett of Buckatunna and Fred Barry Barnett of Laurel; three daughters, Cynthia Ann Reynolds of Buckatunna, Sherry Cook of Waynesboro and Kendra Leigh Barnett of Ellisville; a brother, Lamar Barnett of Brandon; a half brother, Merle Allen Jr. of Renton, Wash.; three sisters, Mary Cloud of Buckatunna, Linda Dilnik of Renton and Susan Davis of Washington; and seven grandchildren.

Services for Estelle B. Glass will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with the Revs. Buford Usry and Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Glass, 72, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Jackson of Meridian and Lynne Buchanan of Plano, Texas; three grandchildren, Jennifer Nelson of Union, Kevin Jackson of Meridian and Michael Buchanan of Plano; two step-grandsons, Asa Buchanan and Cody Buchanan, both of Plano; a brother, Fred Bean of Meridian; two sisters, Ida Evans of San Antonio and Claudia Ruth Coker of Brewton, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Emily Nelson and Garrett Nelson, both of Union.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
JOHN D. MCKEE

PHILADELPHIA Services for John D. McKee will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel with the Revs. Dwight Faulkenbery and Mark Cloys officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Mr. McKee, 75, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Riley Memorial Hospital. He was a retired highway engineer and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Herrington McKee of Philadelphia; his daughter, Moni McKee Nowell of Ridgeland; his son, John L. McKee of Jackson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Jennings Bryan "Buddy" Freeman Sr. will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Magnolia Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Freeman, 76, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired assistant chief of the Meridian Police Department, retired shift commander for campus police of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of King Soloman Lodge No. 333 and Scottish Rite bodies.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Lee Jackson, his sister, Mae Gressett, all of Meridian; three grandchildren, Leanne Jackson and Lesa Jackson of Meridian; and Amanda Freeman of Las Vegas, Nev.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Jennings Bryan Freeman Jr. and William Bryan Freeman.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be members of the Masons.
SUSIE EUGENE HALSELL
Graveside services for Susie Eugene "Gene" Halsell will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Luquire officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Halsell, 77, of Fernley, Nev., died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, in Fernley. She was born July 20, 1924, in Warrenton, Ga., and lived in Meridian for many years. She was a longtime member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include a niece, Sue Meador of Galt, Calif.; a nephew, Ronnie Garrison of Meridian; and a grand-nephew, Tom Curl of Carmichael, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Rainer Halsell in 1971; her parents, DeWitt T. and Susie Phillips Garrison of Chickasaw, Ala.; sister, Talmage Harrison of Louisville, Ky.; and a brother, Phillip Garrison of Meridian.
The family requests memorials be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1575 Delucchi Lane, Suite 214, Reno, Nev., 89506.
EUNICE SEVERANCE IRBY
Graveside services for Eunice Severance Irby will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Irby of Meridian died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at The Speciality Hospital of Meridian. She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Irby of Meridian; a brother, Lamar Severance; a nephew, Ralph Severance of Meridian; and a niece, Patty Agney of Shreveport, La.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
MARIE STOKES ROBERTS

PHILADELPHIA Services for Marie Stokes Roberts will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Brown Barrier and Oneal Parker officiating. Burial will be in Hight Cemetery in Winston County.
Mrs. Roberts, 77, of Long Beach, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport.
Survivors included her son, Paul Roberts of Long Beach; her daughter, Linda Murrah of Pascagoula; three sisters, June Culpepper of Cuba, Ala.; Jane Sciples of Lynville; and Kathy Luke of Louisville; her brother, Sam Stokes of York, Ala.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Roberts.
Visitation will be today at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
