Payne, McGlothin

Mr. and Mrs. Roger L. Payne of Lauderdale announce the engagement of their daughter, Anita, to Trevelle R. McGlothin, son of Charlene M. Lewis of Meridian, Terry Lewis of Collinsville and the late Rufus McGlothin,
The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Greater St. James AME Church.
Miss Payne is the granddaughter of Grady C. Cole and the late Alberta Cole.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School. She is employed by Riley Hospital.
Mr. McGlothin is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Triplett of Boston, Mass.; Florence McGlothin of Meridian and the late Will Henry McGlothin.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and Alcorn State University. He is employed by American General Financial Group of Vicksburg.
A reception will be held at the Hamasa Temple Theatre ballroom following the ceremony.
