Barnett, Trammell

Shanna Jean Trammell and Chad Wesley Barnett, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, with Judge Charles Imbernone officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ronnie and Judy Trammell, J.C. Barnett and Vikki Gunter, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Ralph W. and Zelma Trammell, Leo Lockhart and Jannett Harper.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Alva J. Boswell and the late Ira W. Boswell and the late J.T. and Gracie Barnett.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white gown enhanced with a satin bodice. Pearl trim around the neckline and a low waistline accented the gown. The bottom of the gown was made up of several layers of tulle.
Matron of honor was Kari Mathis of Quitman and J.C. Barnett of Meridian served as best man.
A reception was held at Cafe Rue Orleans in the hotel following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in New Orleans, the couple resides in Meridian.
