Phillips, Hicks

Nancy Phillips of Meridian announces the engagement of her daughter, Heather, to Kevin Hicks, son of Irvin Cliff and Sue Hicks Jr. of Rose Hill. Miss Phillips is also the daughter of the late Billie Phillips.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 28, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Frazier Grove Church of God in Kemper County.
Miss Phillips is the granddaughter of Pauline Espey and the late Marvette Espey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Phillips.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received an associate's degree in child development technology from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, she was a member of the Baptist Student Union and served as MCC's mascot "Victor the Eagle" for two years.
She is employed by Kinnie and Amy Ford.
Mr. Hicks is the grandson of Minnie Hicks and the late Irvin Cliff Hicks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harman Ezell.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School. He is employed by John O'Neil Johnson Toyota.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
