    OBITUARIES FOR TUESDAY, MAY 29, 2001

    UNION Services for Juanita Hattaway will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy McDill and Dr. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Hattaway, 75, of Little Rock, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Meridian. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher.
    Survivors include her husband, Dewey Hattaway; a son, Shelby Hattaway, both of Little Rock; a daughter, Anita Anderson and her husband, Kirby, of McHenry; three grandsons; two granddaughters; three step-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lena Butler, Sadie Hall and Linda Sue Baskin all of Decatur; five brothers, Lee Phaban of Meridian, Herbert Oliver, Fred Oliver, Hugh Oliver and Bob Oliver, all of Little Rock.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Curry and Erie Scott Oliver; a sister, Essie Faye; two brothers, Daniel Wayne and Dorsey Lynn "D.L." Oliver.
    Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jacob Anderson, Chad Anderson and James Hattaway and her nephews, Roy Hattaway, Chris Galyean, David Oliver, Brian Oliver and Michael Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Hopewell Baptist Church.
    The family requests memorials be sent to the Hopewell Baptist Church building fund, Center Ridge/Hopewell Road, Duffee, Miss. 39325, or Guardian Angel Hospice of Meridian.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    SEBASTOPOL Services for James Billie will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Billie, 75, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Philadelphia.
    Survivors include his wife, Mattie Billie; a brother, Paul Billie, both of Philadelphia and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be today after 10 a.m. at the church.
    HESTER BLAINE
    Retired from Mississippi Education and Finance Commission
    Graveside services for Hester Blaine will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Enon Presbyterian Cemetery in Ackerman with the Rev. DeWitt Cutts officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
    Mr. Blaine, 87, of Meridian, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Blaine of Meridian; a son, Dorman Blaine, his wife, Kathie and their four children of Knoxville, Tenn.; two step-sons, the Rev. Carroll Camp, his wife, Cheryl and their four children, of Glenn Burnie, Md. and Ryan Camp, his wife, Fredna and their two children of Meridian; a brother, William E. Blaine and his wife, Maude, of Mount Olive; a sister, Ollie M. Frazier of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Meek Blaine of Ackerman and Ruth Coleman Golden and her husband, Leroy, of Vaughn; two brother-in-laws, Boyce Coleman of Pascagoula and W.D. Coleman and his wife, Rebecca, of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Melissa Densmore Blaine.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
