OBITUARIES FOR MONDAY, MAY 28, 2001

MACON Services for Shirley J. Williams will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Brooksville United Methodist Church with Dale Glenn and Greg Bufkin officiating. Burial will be in Soule Chapel Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Williams, 86, of Brooksville, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon.
Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Temkovits; a son, John Lawrence Williams; a sister, Mary Hartness, all of Brooksville; and three brothers, Gilbert Jolly, of Brooksville, Sherrell Jolly of West Point and Floyd Jack Jolly of San Antonio.
The family requests memorials be made to the Soule Chapel Cemetery Fund c/o Alice Cooper in Macon.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
GRACE BELLE EAVES EVANS

Services for Grace Belle Eaves Evans will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home with the Revs. Carless Evans, Jr., and Dr. Bob Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans, 93, of Meridian, died Friday, May 25, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was an active member of 15th Avenue Baptist Church for 81 years. She was a good and kind Christian woman.
Survivors include three children, Barbara Conger of Greeley, Colo., the Rev. Carless Evans, Jr., of Bailey and James E. Evans of Meridian; two grandchildren, Greg Conger of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and Leslie Davis of Flowery Branch, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren, Presley and Alexandria Davis of Georgia and Holly and Katie Conger of Colorado.
Pallbearers will be Joe Chambers, Bill Jones, Rodney Moon, Ken Patterson, Philip Price, Don Shehane and Bob Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carless J. Evans in 1989.
The family requests memorials be sent to Ebenezer Nursing Home Ministries, P.O. Box 45, Bailey, MS 39320.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
