Local Youth League Results

May 21st at Northeast Softball Complex:
12 &under: Calla Grill 11, Industrial Electric 3-Laura Bagley, Kayla McCoy, and Jennie Scrivner, all singled and doubled, and Ebonnee Ball had two singles, to lead Calla, Eliza Gavin homered, Artesian Byrd tripled, and Brittany Simmons doubled, for Industral.
Perfection Cleaners 15, Captain D's 2: A double and triple by Kimberly Matthews, and a double and single from Mwgan Winborn, led Perfection. Kayla Brown and Tamra Daniel, both singled and doubled for Captain O's.
Southern Sportsman 13, Salad Eactory 11: Kelli Sterling led Southern,with two singles and two homeruns, and Vivea Houston added two singles. Kimbo Seale had two homers, Amy Dayton a single and home run, aqnd Rebecca Savoy two singles, for Salad Factory.
10 &under: Medicap 7, Foot Clinic 2- Medicap had a single and home run, from Megan Myrick, Sara Courtney got a triple and two singles, Kaley Hull and Cory Roberson both doubled, and Lacy Maxwell added three singles. Jessica Frazier , Lauren Purvis, and Amber haffer, all had two singles, and Alexandra White tripled for Foot Clinic.
Waste Management 10, Jellenc Construction 2: Brittnay Jackson homered for Jellenc.
Dees Auto 13, Kemp Electric 3: Lindsey Nicklas had a triple and home run, Lindsey Lang had a double and two singles, Tiffany Roulier and Ashley Massey, both had two singles, and S. B. Fouts, a single and double, to lead Dees. Rachel Reeves homered for Kemp.
8 &under: Ivan Cobb 22, Coke 6- Ivan Cobb had a single, double, and Home run from Rachel Adams and Brittany Pounders, a single and triple from Maggie Alexander, and a single and two doubles, by Jaylyn Albriton. Karli Swearington and Leighann Lewis had three singles for Coke, and Tori Taylor a single and double, and Tabetha Deavers two singles and a double.
Ed chaney Tire beat Morgan Tile 26-15.
Games of May 21st at Crestwood:
Major League: Antwon Lockhart had a home run to lead Police over Clay's Grocery 10-5. Kahri Barnes had a single and home run and Donovan Walker a double for Clay's.
Rookie League: Judges won 13-5 over Popeyes, and All State beat Berry &Gardner, by forfiet.
Pre Major games on the 21st, and Dixie Majors on the 19th, at John Moss:
Pre Majors: Mid South edged Sprite 7-6, and Bemco shutout United Fence 12-0.
Kimore McDade went 2 for 2, with a single and home run, for Mid South while Kelly Jimmerson had two home runs, and Andy Slayton, went 2 for 2, with a double, to lead Sprite. Jamie Fontan was the winner and West Henry the loser.
Ken Mitts ptched a one hitter, and struckout 13, in taking the win for Bemco, while Justin Hinson took the loss. Ricky McMillian homered, Jay Crane tripled, and Doug Kennedy doubled for Bemco.
Dixie Majors: U Save beat American Legion 4-3, and Judges beat the new team 9-1.
Jonathan Fuler and Mards had a double, and Josh McCarty a single and double, to lead U Save. Mark Taylor had a double for Legion. Matt Creighton was the winner and Torry Bates suffered the loss.
Andrew Lilly got the win for the Judges, as the loss fell to Ryan Clay. Lilly helped his cause with a double and home run, while Whitaker had a home run, Stokes a single and triple, and Calvert two singles.
Games at Phil Hardin:
Insurance Solutions lost 4-2 to Comcast, Pine Ridge blasted Anderson Pharmacy 25-13, Powerade beat Fruge' Oil 13-5, Judge Little beat Dr. Hodge 8-6, and Rush won the battle of the hospitals, by beating Rileys 9-2.
