    OBITUARIES FOR THURSDAY, NOV. 23, 2000

    CHARLES BAILEY FERRILL SR.
    Graveside services for Charles Bailey Ferrill Sr. will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, with the Rev. Nick Nicholson officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Grenada on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
    Mr. Ferrill, 90, of Grenada, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at Riley Hospital. He was born in Meridian on Sept. 5, 1910 and was a 1929 graduate of Meridian High School, where he was team captain for both the football and basketball teams. Mr. Ferrill went on to attend the University of Mississippi on a football scholarship. While earning his bachelor of business administration in accounting, he played both football and basketball for the Ole Miss Rebels. Mr. Ferrill was also a member of Kappa Alpha Order and graduated in 1935.
    With his family, he resided in Grenada for 64 years. During this time he was general manager of the Coca-Cola Company and went on to practice full-time public accounting. Mr. Ferrill served as a Grenada City Councilman and was a member of the Lion's Club. He attended First United Methodist Church, where he was on the board of stewards. As an active Ole Miss alumnus, he was a member of the M Club. Mr. Ferrill returned to Meridian in 1999 and resided at Silverleaf Manor.
    Survivors include his children, Charles Bailey Ferrill Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., and Cornelia Ferrill Laird of Meridian; a sister, Rowena Ferrill Eastland of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Mildred Ferrill; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Rogers Ferrill; brothers, John Richard Ferrill and Cicero Columbus Ferrill; and two sisters, Catherine Ferrill Melton and Lydia Ferrill McMahon.
    The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
    Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
    JOHN FRANK GUINN
    Millwright
    BUTLER, Ala. Services for John Frank Guinn will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, with the Rev. Franklin McLelland officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Guinn, 74, of Pennington, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
    Survivors include his wife, Eloise G. Guinn of Pennington; four sons, Mike Guinn and Bruce Guinn, both of Pennington, Paul Guinn of Loganville, Ga. and Dr. Keith Guinn of Butler; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    FRANKIE MAE OLIVER
    Retired school teacher
    Services for Frankie Mae Oliver will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Magnolia Methodist Church in Enterprise. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Oliver, 94, of Enterprise, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, in Robbins, Ill.
    Survivors include a sister, Johnnie Woods of Robbins and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband.
    Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
    LECY M. WARD
    Housewife
    PHILADELPHIA Services for Lecy M. Ward will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at McCain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery in Neshoba County.
    Mrs. Ward, 89, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Neshoba General Hospital.
    Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Smith of Philadelphia; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Ward, and her son, James C. Ward.
    Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    REBA SIMS MOULDS
    Public school teacher for 34 years
    BAY SPRINGS Services for Reba Sims Moulds will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rose Hill.
    Mrs. Moulds, 76, of Rose Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000.
    Survivors include two sons, Wyatt Moulds and his wife, Faye, of Ellisville, and Keith Moulds and his wife, Debbie, of Meridian; three sisters, Louise Loper of State Line, Jean Barnett of Mobile and Marcia Tally of Louin; three brothers, Atha Sims and Max Sims, both of Bay Springs and Lex Sims of Laurel; and two grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Moulds.
    Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MILTON CRAWFORD
    Retired
    Services for Milton Crawford will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in Quitman, with the Rev. James Riley officiating. Burial will be in Stonewall Cemetery.
    Mr. Crawford, 85, of Stonewall, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in his home.
    Survivors include a sister, Luretha Dixon of Stonewall.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
    ELIZABETH BAREFIELD
    Services for Elizabeth Barefield will be held Saturday at noon at Kingdom Hall, State Boulevard, with Herb Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Barefield, 85, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, in Meridian.
    Survivors include her husband, Eugene Barefield of Meridian; a daughter, Lucille Tyler and her husband, Albert, of Baldwin, N.Y.; a brother, Freeman Mosley of Meridian; and three grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    WILLIE MAE DUDLEY
    Retired sales clerk for Superior Furniture Co.
    Services for Willie Mae Dudley will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with Berry &Garner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Dudley, 85, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, in her home.
    Survivors include cousins, foster children and godchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
    Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    VIRGINIA LOUISE MCREE EAGER

    FRANKLIN, N.C. Graveside services for Virginia Louise McRee Eagar will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Ala. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Eagar, 86, of Meridian, Miss., died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Highlands Cashiers Hospital. She was a native of Jefferson County, Ala., the daughter of the late Spruce A. and Cora Stovall McRee. She was married to Robert E. Eagar who died in 1994. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Meridian, where she was active in Women of the Church. She was also an avid University of Alabama football fan.
    Survivors include two sons, Bob Eagar of Highlands and Dr. Ron Eagar of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Bud McRee of Alabaster, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to World Reach, P.O. Box 26155, Birmingham, AL 35226-0155.
    Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at John-Ridouts Mortuary Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, Ala.
