James Kenneth “Kenny” Sumerel

James Kenneth “Kenny” Sumerel, 74, of Russellville, Ala., passed away March 12. Visitation was held March 14 from 1-2 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. A service directly followed. Burial was in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

William Anthony Hamilton March 10, 2025

William Anthony Hamilton, 80, of Russellville, Ala., passed away March 10. Visitation was held March 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. The funeral service immediately followed in the chapel.

VirginiaAnneMorgan, 79, of Russellville, Ala., passed away March 9. Visitation was held March 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service took place March 12 at 12:30 p.m. at East Franklin Cemetery.

Jerry Patrick Hall, 73, of the East Franklin community, passed away March 4. Visitation was held at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville on March 8 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service took place March 9 at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in East Franklin Cemetery.
