Letter to the Editor: FC Farmers Federation gives thanks for community support of annual sock drive

Dear Editor,

The Franklin County Farmers Federation Women’s Committee wishes to thank our community for their generosity during our annual “Cottons for Christmas” sock drive.

With your help, we collected 250 pairs of socks and we were able to give all seventy residents at Generations of Red Bay a nice gift bag which included multiple pairs of socks along with a lotion.

The Committee members also provided extra gifts for five of the 70 residents who had little or no family.

We sincerely appreciate your donations for this wonderful project.

Again, thank you!

Sincerely,

Shannon Murray
