Red Bay sneaks by Sulligent

The Red Bay Tigers held off the Sulligent Blue Devils to win 57-56.

Lawson Glover led the Tigers with 18 points, including eight in the second quarter and six in the fourth.

A pair of early three-pointers by Ethan McCoy helped Red Bay jump out to a big first quarter lead 16-9. The Tigers led at the half 33-26, with McCoy’s 10 first half points.

Sulligent doubled up Red Bay in the third quarter, outscoring the Tigers 14-7 to tie the game 40-40.

Cody Carnes score eight points in the fourth quarter, making two three pointers and a pair of free throws, powering Red Bay to the win.

Following Glover’s team-high 18 points, McCoy added 13. Carnes and Holden Inmon scored 10 each. Gage Edgmon added three points, and Conner Humphries one point.
