Don’t miss out: Vina’s July Fest takes place Saturday

For a number of years, Vina’s annual July Fest, held on the last Saturday of the month – July 27 this year – has been a local favorite. Featuring music, food, vendors and games, there’ssure to be something for everyone. Car show registration is from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and costs $20. Judging, cash prizes and giveaways begin at 1:00 p.m.

This family-friendly event is always well-attended. The much-anticipated yearly draw-down for all cash prizes, no trophies (begins at 5:30 p.m. with a $17,000 grand prize – tickets $100/each, limit of 325 tickets) and fireworks show (9:00 p.m.) are also featured parts of the festival.

The event is held on the grounds of the Vina volunteer fire and rescue department. For vendor information, call 256-324-2135. For more general information, call 256-356-4996.
