Franklin County Grand Jury returns indictments

The following are the most recent indictments returned by the Franklin County Grand Jury:

  • Jimmy Harold Ables, 73, Lexington, TN. Theft of property first degree and burglary third degree.
  • Edith Denise Avery, 52, Russellville. Chemical endangerment of a minor and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
  • Danny Joe Bateman, Memphis, TN. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of alcoholic beverages.
  • Mary Cathaleen Bentley, 48, Red Bay. Possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
  • Eric A. Burciaga, 22, Baton Rouge, LA. Traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sexual act.
  • Steven Ray Carpenter, 35, Mount Meigs. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, possess of drug paraphernalia, expired tag, switched tag, no turn signal and driving while license is cancelled, suspended or revoked.
  • Tiffany Marie Carr, 22, Tishomingo, MS. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Joshua Paul Clark, 37, Tremont, MS. Possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, expired license, no/improper tag light and receiving stolen property fourth degree.
  • Christopher Scott Cummings, 26, Red Bay. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Roscoe Turner Dansby, 39, Faunsdale. Arson second degree, burglary third degree and theft of property first degree.
  • Franklin Lee Dempsey, 45, Bowden, GA. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
  • Dellie S. Earnest, 46, Vina. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Amanda Kaye Ergle, 27, Russellville. Three counts of assault second degree, driving under the influence of alcohol, open container, obstructing governmental operations, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • Amy Pounders Ewing, 43, Red Bay. Two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Joel Euzell Ewing, 51, Red Bay. Two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • David Charles Franks, 71, Hamilton. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
