Happily ever after: RHS stages ‘Shrek The Musical Jr.’

Pinocchio (McKinley Copeland) and Lord Farquaad (Patrick Crummie) are at odds on stage for "Shrek the Musical Jr." but remain friends off the stage.

Destiny Cooper (Dragon) and Braden Bales (Donkey) evoked loud peals of laughter and applause from the crowd.

Sydney Burcham (left) and Addie Scruggs portray the grown-up princess and ogre versions of Fiona for RHS' "Shrek The Musical Jr." which entertained the audience Feb. 9 in the RCS Auditorium.

Audiences enjoyed a music-filled, character-focused production from the Russellville High School music theater program Feb. 8-9: “Shrek the Musical,” adapted from the Broadway musical version.
