NWSCC to offer free computer class

Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) will offer a free basic computer skills class through Adult Education on the Shoals campus, building 112, room 113. The class will begin Tuesday, Feb. 11, Adult Education Director Donnie Sweeney said.

The class will be offered to adults 18 years of age or over on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for eight weeks. The class will teach students such skills as: keyboarding, Internet access and navigation, word processing and an opportunity to earn a Career Ready certificate.
