The Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association had their annual appreciation dinner on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Ralph C. Bishop Community Center in Russellville.

The event was attended by over 500 people who enjoyed a steak dinner, entertainment and door prizes provided by local businesses, including Sunshine Mills, Inc. in Red Bay.

The Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association has been giving back to the community for many years through their innovative programs.

They continuously support the local schools through their annual beef donation to family and consumer science classes and their annual scholarships that are given out thanks to the popular Cattlemen’s steak sandwich sales.
