Roger Lee Jarnigan, 67, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born on Monday, May 8, 1944 to Troy and Marie Jarnigan.  Roger was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.  He was a retired maintenance technician of Robbins, LLC in Tuscumbia.  
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.  Officiating at the service will be Bro. Gerald Hoyle, Bro. Virgil Chism, and Bro. Silas Oliver.  The burial will be at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Sparks Jarnigan; daughters, Pam Mitchell and husband, William, Tonya Dill, Monyca Guin and husband, Ben; grandchildren, Josh Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, Trae Dill, Tessa Fowler, Rayleigh Guin, Benjamin Guin; sisters, Mary Margaret Hoyle, Katherine Johnson; brother, Talton Jarnigan; four nephews; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Marie Jarnigan.

The pallbearers will be Matthew Jarnigan, Jacob Jarnigan, Todd Johnson, Bill Jarnigan, Phillip Jarnigan, John Johnson and Wesley Jarnigan.
Roger was a good man that impacted lives of those who knew him.  He helped many people, and will be missed greatly by all who knew him, especially his family.
