Peggy Paulette Hovater Lang
Peggy Paulette Hovater Lang, 66, of Foley, Ala., formerly of Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at South Baldwin Hospital in Foley, Ala.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Ray Reynolds will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nedward Herschel Hovater; mother, Gladys Wingo Hovater; brothers, Billy Herschel Hovater, Roger Dale Hovater; father-in-law, Virgil O. Lang; and mother-in-law, Annie Lois Pounders Lang.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Emera Howard Lang; children, Veronica Lee Lang Deloach and husband, Charles, of Gulf Shores, Ala., Phillip Howard Lang, of Rock Creek, Ala.; Aaron James Lang and wife, Amanda, of Fairhope, Ala.; grandchildren, Jacob Cain Lang (Megan Scott), Alexis Paulette Deloach, Anna Katherine Lang, Baby Aaron Lang; great-grandchild, Emma Gene Lang; brothers, Gary Carl Hovater and wife, Shea, Ricky Dean Hovater and wife, Sharon; sisters, Linda Kay Hovater, Dawn Zell Hovater Wallace and husband, Kirk; sister-in-laws, Bridget Giersberg Hovater, Mary Ann Huckaba Hovater, Alice Lang Bankston and husband, Uthell, Dorothy Lang Keblaitis and husband, Paul, Gloria Jane Lang Fluhart, Christine Lang; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Sweet, Jacob Lang, Tracy Hovater, Jamie Hovater, Jeremy Hovater, Josh Hovater, Chris Keblaitis, Kevin Kate, Jason Melton, and Billy Michael Hovater.
Mrs. Lang was a very kind and loving lady who will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay Team “Rogers’s Racers – Billy’s Bunch”.
