Joseph T. “Joey” Spencer, 48, of Vina passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at Red Bay Hospital. He was born March 31, 1962 in Alabama to Olen and Abbie Grace Weaver Spencer. He was employed by Sunshine Homes and was a mason.
Funeral services were held Aug. 2 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. W.D. Humphries officiating. Burial was in Old Burleson Cemetery in Vina.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Spencer, of Vina; two sons, Joseph Spencer, Jr. and wife, Brittany, of Jasper, Ala. and Lance Spencer, of Vina; two step-children, Allen and Morgan Clements, of Tremont, Miss.; two grandchildren, Joseph Cole Spencer and Joseph Sawyer Wheatley Spencer; and a host of aunts, uncles, friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers were Randy Robertson, Andy Robertson, Lane Robertson, Kenneth Stone, Scotty Raper and David Watson.
