Hulon Thurston Lawler, 81, Phil Campbell, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Russellville Hospital.
The body will lie in state 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Shady Grove Church, Phil Campbell with the funeral following at 2 p.m. Officiating at the service will be Bro. David Sanderson. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Catherine Lawler; wife, Margaret McDuffa Lawler; daughter, Brenda Mann; brothers, Marlin Lawler, Clay Lawler Jr., Bufford Lawler, Elvie Lawler, Roy Lee Lawler; sisters, Lillie Mae Shelton, Beulah Oliver, Ruby Jean Hamilton.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Holley, and husband, Jimmy, of Phil Campbell; son-in-law, Dewayne Mann, Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Amy Jackson, and, husband, Jeremy, of Phil Campbell, Tammy Cochran, and husband, Joey of Hackleburg, Jeremy Mann, Phil Campbell, Amanda Harbor ,and husband, Derek of Hamilton; five great-grandchildren, Devin Harbor, Sara Grace Harbor, Ethan Cochran, Emma Cochran, Connor Jackson; sister, Betty Fleming, Muscle Shoals; sister-in-laws, Helen Lawler, Russellville, Opal Alexander, Phil Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Emmett Allen, Owen Swinney, Gary Don Fleming, Joey Cochran, Jeremy Jackson, Jeremy Mann, and Jerry Lawler.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mid South Home Health, Russellville Hospital, Dr. Morrow and office staff at Phil Campbell.
