Harold Reid Posey, 69, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Jackson General Hospital, Jackson, Tenn.
He was a native of Chilton County, but had lived in Franklin County for the past 34 years. He attended the Baptist Church and was a retired Alabama State Trooper.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 16, 2010, 3 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Bro. Thomas Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Survivors include wife, Della Posey, of Russellville; daughter, Kim Posey, of Russellville, son, Justin Posey and wife, Lynn, of Hackleburg; grandchildren, Blake Hyde, Brianna Wood and Bailey Wood; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by parents, Adam and Vera Posey.
