Dale Baker

Dale Baker, 79, of Phil Campbell, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Joe Poss and Bro. James H. Bishop officiating. Burial will be in the Old Line Cemetery.

He is survived by wife of 53 years, Cora Briscoe Baker; daugthers, Kathy Gail Welborn and husband, David, of Hackleburg, Cindy Nell Summersgill Hall and husband, Melvin, of Mobile; son, Jason  Dale Baker and wife, Lisa, of Phil Campbell; sisters, Peggy Baker and  husband, Norman Fennell, of Hackleburg, Frances Baker Graham and husband, Ray, of Huntsville;  brother, Jack Baker of Hackleburg;  grandchildren, Denise Welborn Birdyshaw and husband, Joseph, of Hackleburg, Angela Welborn and  husband, B.J., of Hackleburg, Karen Welborn McGee and husband, Randall, of Phil Campbell, Matthew Welborn of Hackleburg, Daniele Summersgill of Mobile, Cynthia Summersgill of Mobile, Miranda Baker of Phil Campbell, Jamie Baker of Phil Campbell; great grandchildren, Savanna Birdyshaw, Dylan McGee, McKenzie Kratz, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by son-in-law Daniel Summersgill of Mobile; parents,  Bill and Pearl Baker of Hackleburg; and brother,  Billy Joe Baker of Hackleburg.
