Contribute without spending
Times are tough and many people are cutting back on charitable contributions as they try to ensure the financial security of their families.
It is not a good time to be asking for money- that is why The Franklin County Times is willing to make a donation for you to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
By taking a few moments to become a fan of the Franklin County Times on Facebook, the paper will donate a quarter.
While 25 cents doesn’t sound like much money, it does add up. The 679 fans as of Tuesday afternoon represents a $174.25 donation.
Become a fan, then get your Facebook friends to become fans by 5 p.m. on May 5. The more people that sign up, the more money The Franklin County Times will donate.
With 3,321 more fans, that donation will grow to $1,000.
