Jimmy Wayne Jackson, 62, of Russellville, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence.
A private family service was held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery with Bro. Carl Gilbert officiating.
He was preceded in death by parents and four sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Monica, Mary Beth, Cynthia; grandchildren; brother, Noah D. (Pauline) Jackson, Jr.; sister, Emma Quillen; and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce Anderson

Joyce Ruth Anderson, 78, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009. She was a homemaker, avid reader, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always made you feel comfortable in any situation. Always optimistic, it was common to hear her say, "I guess that's okay!" She was a member of United Highland Methodist and Highland's Baptist Churches for many years while she lived in Huntsville. Her final church home was Our Redemmer Lutheran Church of Florence.
Ms. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Wallace M. Anderson, Jr.; parents Shelby and LaVerne Daniel of Mobile; and grandson, Christopher H. Kuberg.
She is survived by her children, Sherry (Ray) Grant of Union Grove, Melanie (Harry) Kuberg of Russellville, Martha Lynn (Mike) Hovis of Harvest, Mark (Misty) Anderson of Hunttville; grandchildren, Wesley Gibson, Jeremy Hovis, Katie Hovis, Kellie Hovis, Lainey Anderson, Ellie Anderson, Karl Kuberg, Hans Kuberg; and great-grandchildren, Shawn Gibson and Dylan Gibson.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Huntsville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Alzheimer's Assocation, 117A Longwood Drive, SE, Huntsville, Al 35801.
Larry Perez

Larry Tito Perez, seven months, of Russellville, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Russellville Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Bethania Family Christian Church. Burial was in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Carolina Perez Juarez and Tito Alvardo Diaz Ramirez; and sister, Meily Edith Diaz Perez.
Martha Hendon

Martha Louise Hendon, 81, of Russellville, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Florence Nursing Home and Rehab.
The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the First Nazarene Church of Russellville with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. with Bro. Dallas Baggett and Rev. Glen Mayfield officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Virginia Harris; and brother Paul Harris, Jr.
She is survived by husband, Rev. Douglas W. Hendon; children, Douglas W. (Gail) Hendon, Jr. of Florence, Gwendolyn F. Dickenson of Kansas City, Mo., Dr. H. Mark (Sheila) Hendon of Ocala, Fla., Jadonna S. (Jon) Robinson of Tuscaloosa; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
